Teachers pet

I am feeling a little lost at the moment as is my poor little Fuji Finepix camera. Somehow I managed to lose it at the weekend at my Mum and Dad's house, during a party for my Dad's birthday.
Fingers crossed it will turn up eventually - not in time for F's school performance tomorrow though, when he shall be appearing as one of the lost boys in Year 2's performance of Peter Pan and the World Cup (I have no idea how they are combining the two things either....something to do with Captain hook kidnapping the England Football team...).
Luckily we can borrow a camera for that, so I will hopefully get some snaps...

I can't believe there are only a few short weeks left of school. I must start thinking about presents for teachers. Does anyone have any brilliant ideas of what to make or give? Including all the ladies at D's playschool  I have about 10 teachers to get presents for...but what to get?
The lazy me thought a big bar of chocolate and a lottery ticket would be a good idea, but the crafty me wants to get the kids to write their names, scan them in and print on photo transfer paper and make purses.....
The first idea sounds SO much easier...............

Ps I couldn't do a completley photo free post, so the picture is of my little D when she came and helped me on my beach photo shoot the other Saturday morning  for my Folksy shop - I had just arrived back from a run so it was only about 7.30am, which is why she is still wearing her nightie!

I'm always stressing about Teacher gifts - my friend is a teacher and she gets so many unwanted gifts!! I always think something practical so its usually a pretty notebook, but this year I may make a book bag each (I only have 2 to get for) or a pencil roll. Nightmare though!!! How about some corsages? Like we need more pressure....

Round this way, we collect money as a class for spa/john lewis/m&s/gardening vouchers :) Boring but the teachers like it. The summer term is always really busy - don't kill yourself. Homemade cards are always appreciated too.
PS Daisy is so beautiful.

Thanks for your ideas ladies - and wonderful ones too! I copped out I have to say and got wine for the school teachers and chocolate for the playschool ones. I did get the kids to make handmade cards for each teacher though, with a little photo of them inside....maybe I should start planning now for handmade gifts for next year!
